Rosemary Zulu-Phiri, popularly known as Red Rose, is a Zambian author, Gospel Hip-Hop artist, rapper, public health specialist, mental health practitioner, mentor, coach and advocate.
Her work brings together writing, music, podcasting, faith, health, mental wellbeing, youth development and personal growth.

Rosemary is the author of The Diary of a 40 Year Old Millennial Wife, sharing reflections and insights on womanhood, marriage, relationships, growth and life.
The Artist
In 2012, Red Rose became the first Zambian female rapper to release a full-length Hip-Hop album, Access Code. Her music combines faith, personal reflection, social commentary and youth engagement.

Red Rose is a public health specialist and health researcher, with experience in research involving adolescents and young people. She is also a mental health practitioner and advocate.

She mentors and coaches young people in character development and capacity building. She is a co-founder of The Cliquerz and founder of Beauty with Brains and Character.

Red Rose is a co-founder of Yeken Promotions Limited, a media and creative agency, and the founder of Mental Health Gym-Zambia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health.
